For parents and caregivers

A quieter room,
without asking twice.

When the room gets louder, Inside Voice plays a short, gentle cue, so you don't have to be the one asking for quiet.

How it works

Put the phone down.
Let the cue do the asking.

  1. Pick a situation

Dinner, homework, quiet play or one of your own. Each one remembers the level you chose.

  2. Start a Quiet Session

Put your iPhone in the middle of the table, screen down. A short sound check makes sure everyone can hear the cue.

  3. Hear the cue, not your own voice

When the room stays louder than your level, a short, neutral sound plays. It keeps listening with the screen locked, and you can end it from the Lock Screen or your Apple Watch.

What you can count on

Simple, private,
and yours to keep.

  • Nothing is recorded

It only measures how loud the room is. No audio is stored or sent anywhere.

  • No account, no tracking

No sign-up, no ads, and no tracking.

  • Pay once, no subscription

Your first 5 sessions are free. After that, one payment unlocks every session for good. No ads, ever.

  • Share it with your family

With Family Sharing, up to five family members can use it too.

Why it's different

A neutral cue,
not a punishment.

Inside Voice doesn't score children, hand out stars or keep a log of who was loud. Everyone in the room hears the same calm cue, and you stay in charge of your family's agreement.

It measures the room's overall loudness, not words or who is speaking. Phones and rooms differ, so its levels are a guide, not a certified measurement.
